Kota Kinabalu: Heavy rain and strong winds lashed the west coast Sunday leaving a trail of uprooted trees, fallen branches and power outage in many parts.
In Penampang, a 51-year-old woman sustained injuries on her shoulders after being struck by a downed tree in Kg Kalanggaan.
A tree was uprooted as she was working on her farm due to a powerful wind gust.
