PENAMPANG: Penampang Public Works Department engineer Nelliah Sittor assured that the felling of trees along Penampang Bypass, from Padimas up to Kivatu, meets the Sabah Environment Protection Department (EPD) standards.
The soon-to-be three-lane road will cut through the congested Donggongon roundabout towards Tambunan via a flyover estimated to cost at least RM300 million.
The project’s master plan has forced the Sigah landmark near the Donggongon roundabout to be relocated.
