Based on reports, a suitcase with body parts and a torso were found along the North-South expressway in Sungai Buloh.
An emergency call was immediately made to the police when the suitcase was discovered by a passerby on Tuesday morning (17th January).
Sungai Buloh OCPD noted they found a torso as well as a suitcase on the scene, containing a head, legs, and arms when they arrived.
"We received a call about the find at around 11.45am.
"The partial body (from waist to neck) was found at the scene," she said, adding that the head, legs and arms were found inside the suitcase.
"The identity of the victim has yet to be determined. There were also no identification documents at the scene."
"We have classified the case as murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code," she said.
The body has been sent for post mortem, investigations are still ongoing and the victim has yet to be identified.
