Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp handed a training chance to a prodigious young talent.
Teenage midfielder Trey Nyoni received a chance to show what he can do on the training field.
He was thought to be in line for a place in the team's squad as they take on Toulouse in the Europa League on Thursday.
However, British media outlets state that he was not named in the club's squad for the competition last month.
Nyoni is an under-18 player, but has only joined the club months ago from Leicester City, which means he is not eligible outside of the squad, unlike youth stars Harvey Elliot, Stefan Bajcetic and Jarell Quansah.
Those young talents can go on the club's B list for Europa League players, as they have been at the club for at least two years.
