Tributes including soft toys and flowers have been left for a 10-year-old girl found dead in Sandwell.

A 33-year-old woman - understood to be known to the girl - has been arrested on suspicion of murder, West Midlands Police said.

Officers found the child with injuries at an address in Robin Close, Rowley Regis, at around 12:10pm on Monday 4 March.

She was confirmed dead at the scene.

“A young girl has tragically lost her life and our thoughts are with her loved ones and all those impacted by this terrible passing,” Detective Inspector Dan Jarratt said.
