- Essex Police have charged Romeo Mfinda, 18, of Widford Chase, Chelmsford, and a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, with Mr Shakur's murder.
- Both Mfinda and the 17-year-old have also been charged with possession with intent to supply cannabis and possession of a knife in a public place, appearing before Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court.
- Mr Shakur's family released a statement describing him as 'a kind soul loved by his family' with 'hopes and dreams for his future,' expressing their profound heartbreak.
