Finding a parking spot at the mall is no doubt a cumbersome and stressful affair, but it doesn’t mean that one can simply park their vehicle wherever they please.
A sports utility vehicle (SUV) owner is getting a taste of his own medicine after photos showing the car being parked at a prohibited area along with an extra ‘decoration’ went viral online.
Trolley seen placed on top of SUV which parked at non-parking spot
In the photos shared to the Facebook group 槟城吹水站 yesterday (Nov 11), it showed a black Toyota Harrier parked in front of a row of trolleys.
However, it came with a rather unexpected and odd-looking ‘accessory’ — a trolley being placed right on top of its front windscreen.
According to the caption, the SUV owner had allegedly parked the car at a spot that it’s off-limits to cars, presumably prompting an irate shopper to teach the owner a lesson by placing the trolley on top of the SUV.
While the location wasn’t mentioned in the post, several netizens speculated that the parking lot was located within a mall in Tebrau, Johor.
‘Serves him right!’
In the comment section, some netizens were thrilled to see the SUV owner be taught lesson and showed little sympathy.
‘Only one sentence: Well deserved.’
‘Those pushing the trolley please use it to scratch the car. You (the SUV owner) want convenience, others should have the same convenience to scratch your car.’
On the other hand, some disagreed, saying no one should take matters into their own hands and that they should instead lodge a report with the mall’s management.
