A PICKUP truck (pic) was about 50pc damaged in a fire at the Sabah State Legislative Assembly parking lot in Kota Kinabalu on Thursday, according to the Fire and Rescue Department.
The incident was reported at 4.46pm, with firefighters arriving at 5.08pm, approximately 12km from the station. A total of 11 firefighters from the Kota Kinabalu Fire and Rescue Station responded, supported by a fire engine, EMRS unit and rapid intervention teams.
The Isuzu D-Max was already half engulfed in flames when firefighting operations began using a single hose line. The blaze was fully extinguished by 5.29pm.
No injuries or casualties were reported.
