US President Donald Trump on Friday accused Iran of spreading disinformation about a possible deal with the US.
Writing on his Truth Social platform, he said that the terms that Iran had leaked to the press "have NOTHING to do with the terms that were agreed to, in writing."
"What they said, including their weak and pathetic statement on having a deal, bears no relation to the truth. Very dishonorable people to deal with. With them, there is no such thing as dealing in good faith," he wrote.
"They better get their act together, and FAST!" he wrote, without specifying any details.
On Thursday, Trump again raised hopes of signing a possible framework agreement between Iran and the US, vaguely suggesting this weekend - possibly in Europe - as a timeframe.
This framework deal could lead to further talks on a permanent end to the war.
The US and Israel launched the war against Iran on February 28. A ceasefire has been in place since April, although both sides have carried out attacks in recent weeks.
