President Donald Trump accused The New York Times of doctoring a photo of his Trump National Doral Miami golf resort to make the property look filthy.
The New York Times denied altering the image, stating it was an authentic photograph taken by a staff photographer in 2020.
The photo accompanied an article examining the ethical concerns surrounding Trump's decision to host the Group of 20 summit at his resort.
Trump attacked reporters Peter Baker and Maggie Haberman on Truth Social, calling them dishonest and third-rate.
The controversy comes amid continued scrutiny over Trump's frequent visits to his golf properties during his presidency.
