Trump gives bizarre excuse for why he stormed out of NBC interview

This is the bizarre explanation Donald Trump gave as to why he stormed out of the NBC interview.

In an interview that aired on Sunday (7 June), the president walked out on Meet The Press’s Kristen Welker after he was challenged on his false claims about the 2020 election.

“You’re either crooked or you’re stupid,” he told Ms Welker before taking off his microphone and leaving.

Speaking shortly after the failed interview, which was recorded on June 5 in a barn in Wisconsin, he told a crowd that he became angry due to the poor weather.

“It was raining. And it was with NBC fake news. And because it was raining, I got a little bit angry at them. I was not happy with them. But we had a good time.”
