Trump says Boeing aircraft deal with China may reach 750 units, following a reported initial agreement for 200 planes.
WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump said the number of Boeing aircraft ordered under the previously announced deal with China could reach 750.
Previously, according to the American leader, Beijing agreed to purchase 200 Boeing aircraft, although China has not yet confirmed the deal.
“I told this to Boeing and General Electric, we’re going to go the General Electric engines, which are great. If they do a good job, we could go up to 750,” Trump told Fox News, reported Sputnik/RIA Novosti.
Trump paid a state visit to China on May 13-15, where he held talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
