Trump Mobile drops rendering of gold phone and ‘47 plan’ cost

Trump Mobile released new renderings of its T1 smartphone, priced at $499, featuring a conventional vertical camera layout, replacing the previously triangular design.
The company's website no longer provides a release date for the T1, prompting customers to 'Join the Waitlist' after multiple delays since its initial June 2025 announcement with an expected August release.
Trump Mobile has walked back earlier claims that the T1 would be 'Made in the USA,' now stating it is 'designed with American values' and supported by 'American teams.'
The company also offers other devices, including renewed Samsung and Apple models, and a '47 Plan' for $47.45 per month with unlimited talk, text, and data, plus additional services.
Eleven Democratic lawmakers, led by Senator Elizabeth Warren, requested an FTC investigation into Trump Mobile over concerns of deceptive business practices, specifically regarding $100 pre-order deposits for the unreleased T1 and misleading 'Made in the USA' claims.
