President Donald Trump wrote "praise be to Allah" in yet another Truth Social post taunting Iran, just hours after the U.S. launched a new series of strikes against the nation.
Trump lashed out at the “Fake News Media” and claimed that the ongoing U.S. naval blockade of Iran’s ports is the “most successful” in the “history of Naval Warfare.”
“NOTHING GETS THROUGH unless we want it to. IT IS A STEEL WALL! Iran is doing ZERO business, not paying their military, or any of their bills, and quickly becoming a FAILED NATION! Lots of oil is getting out. Praise be to Allah!” he wrote Wednesday morning.
This comes after Trump wrote “praise be to Allah” in a profanity-laden Easter Sunday Truth Social post about the Strait of Hormuz.
“Open the F***n’ Strait, you crazy b*****ds, or you’ll be living in Hell - JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah,” he wrote in April.
Earlier Wednesday, the president warned that Tehran has “taken too long to negotiate a deal” and will now have to “pay the price,” adding that the Iranian military is a “complete and total mess.”
“Iran is all talk and no action,” he wrote on Truth Social. “The Bully of the Middle East is DEAD!!!”
The U.S. military launched new strikes against Iran Tuesday, after Trump announced an American Apache helicopter was “shot down” while flying over the Strait of Hormuz. He later told Fox News an Iranian drone lodged between the helicopter’s two pilots, but did not explode.
The pilots were found safe and uninjured after the helicopter went down Monday evening.
U.S. Central Command said the latest strikes targeted “Iranian air defense, ground control stations, and surveillance radar sites near the Strait of Hormuz,” and that the operation was “proportional response to recent attacks on U.S. forces and international commercial ships transiting regional waters.”
In response, Tehran launched its own strikes against U.S. bases in Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan. Iranian officials have warned there will be “more severe and widespread attacks” if U.S. strikes continue.
Trump ”may keep going" with the strikes and is getting closer to ordering attacks against Iran’s power plants and bridges, he told Fox News Wednesday.
