Trump posts fake picture to cosplay as military general after famously skipping draft

  • President Donald Trump, who famously got out of the draft five times, shared a fake image depicting himself as a top military general — decked out in service ribbons and some of the nation’s highest military honors.
  • The rendering pictured Trump, 80, alongside generals George S. Patton and Douglas MacArthur, two of the country’s most famous combat commanders and figures of World War II, in front of a fiery battleground.

  • One of these deferrals was for bone spurs, which the daughters of the diagnosing podiatrist suggested was a favor to Trump's father.
  • Trump has previously faced criticism for his lack of military service and once considered awarding himself the Congressional Medal of Honor for a non-combat visit to an Iraqi air base.
