President Trump told reporters on Wednesday (29 April) that Iran “will have to cry uncle” to reopen the blockade of Strait of Hormuz.
At the Oval Office, talking about the blockade of Strait of Hormuz, Trump said, “ Well, the blockade is genius. Okay. The blockade has been a hundred percent foolproof. It shows how good our Navy is.”
Trump still didn’t provide a clear timeline as to when the Strati will be opened.
“ We've got an amazing military now we now they have to cry uncle. That's all they have to do. Just say, we give up” he said, adding that Iran’s economy “is dead.”
When asked about his recent phone call with Putin, he also said he sees Iran and Ukraine war on a “ similar timetable.”
