WASHINGTON, Oct 26 — US President Donald Trump said in a Truth Social post that the Thai-Cambodia peace deal will be signed upon his arrival Sunday in Malaysia.
“We will be signing the Peace Deal immediately upon arrival,” Trump said in a post from Air Force One as he flew to Asia, where he will attend meetings including a summit of South-east Asian nations in Malaysia.
Trump helped broker a ceasefire between Thailand and Cambodia after tensions erupted in July, leading to the deadliest military clashes in decades that killed more than 40 people. — AFP
