MOSCOW, July 22 — Republican nominee and former United States President Donald Trump said his party must be compensated for alleged “fraud” by President Joe Biden’s entourage after his decision to quit the presidential race, reported Sputnik.

Yesterday, Biden said he would withdraw from the presidential race and endorsed Vice-President Kamala Harris as the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee.

“Shouldn’t the Republican Party be reimbursed for ‘fraud’ in that everybody around Joe, including his doctors and the fake news media, knew he was not capable of running for, or being, president?” Trump wrote on his social media network yesterday.

The former president said the Republican Party was forced to spend money and time fighting Biden and as he had withdrawn, the campaign had to be restarted.

The United States presidential election is slated for November 5.
