Donald Trump has shared a bizarre AI video of himself filling up the Lincoln Memorial Reflection Pool with a person’s tears.
The pool, which has been empty since late April, is due to reopen before the 4 July holiday, which will also mark the 250th anniversary of American independence.
In a clip shared to Truth Social on Thursday (4 June), an AI-generated version of the US president stands next to a wailing individual, whose tears fill a helmet attached to their head. Mr Trump then uses their tears to fill up the pool via a hose.
It came as the White House announced on Thursday evening that the water had begun flowing, celebrating the project's completion.
