ALL four children of the late Tun Daim Zainudin are expected to appear at the headquarters of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on April 6 to provide their statements, according to the agency.

MACC Special Operations Division Director Datuk Mohamad Zamri Zainul Abidin said lawyers representing the individuals have given assurances that all of them will attend as scheduled.

“Accordingly, the MACC has taken note of the assurance and expects this commitment to be fully adhered to by all parties involved.

“The MACC is giving all parties the opportunity to attend, and if any individual fails to appear as promised, further action will be considered in accordance with the provisions of the law in force,” he told Harian Metro.

The four individuals named are Asnida, Md Wira Dani, Muhammed Amir Zainuddin and Muhammed Amin Zainuddin.

It was previously reported that Notices of Individual Consequences were issued to the four after they allegedly failed to respond to and comply with two official notices issued by MACC regarding asset declarations.

According to the agency, the notices were issued after no response was received and attempts to contact the individuals had been unsuccessful as of February 26.

It was also stated that the lawyers had informed MACC that their clients were overseas and that communication with them had been difficult. - March 24, 2026
