Tun Musa suggests joint Federal-State meetings

Kota Kinabalu: Head of State Tun Musa Aman suggested that federal and state department heads hold a joint meeting chaired by the Chief Minister four times a year to exchange ideas and share insights.

He conveyed this to Sabah Federal Secretary Datuk Seri Rosli Isa during a courtesy call on the Governor at Istana Seri Kinabalu on Friday.

AdvertisementRosli said the visit was to extend congratulations on Musa’s appointment.

“I informed Musa that all federal departments and agencies in Sabah will continue to work closely with the State Government to ensure the State’s economic and developmental progress,” he said.

Read more He said his office would hold a coordination meeting with heads of federal departments and statutory bodies in Sabah three times a year, with the first meeting scheduled for Feb. 18.

Also present were Deputy Chief Secretary Noraziah Aslan, along with Assistant Secretaries Patrick Laing Ngau, Ag Mohd Izzuddin Hariz bin Ag Kachee and Michol Lin.
