  • Rod Stewart has faced criticism for an AI-generated video shown at his concert in Alpharetta, Georgia, depicting an AI likeness of Ozzy Osbourne taking selfies with various deceased celebrities.
  • The video, which included AI versions of Prince, Tina Turner, Tupac Shakur, and Amy Winehouse, was widely condemned on social media as tasteless and disrespectful.

  • The blogger who initially publicised the video expressed regret for mocking Stewart but also criticised AI art as “insidious” and “soulless”, noting Prince's historical opposition to virtual reality.
