Matt Turner has explained quitting Arsenal for Nottingham Forest this summer.
The USA goalkeeper admits he was concerned another year on the bench would've hurt his reputation.
"I know that it would probably have become even more difficult to move within the Premier League if I had waited another season. So I knew it was time," he said.
"If I had had one more season without playing time, I probably would have had to take a step back.
"And if you do, it's hard to come back."
