Their business model of creating posts from accounts with simple text and media to its layout had been reliable news for people to read.  Its feature, the threads are a powerful way to give informational content to its user.

Recently, a whistleblower Peiter Zalko had been surrounding the news on social media. He revealed a reliable document containing the failure of the policy's conduct to its users. The war between them exploded, as Twitter still had no effort to make a statement. 

Twitter Is an Influential Website

Malaysian teenagers are their main contributors to making Twitter reach the top. It might not be comparable with the rising TikTok of the king of social media, Facebook. Its business model of containing simple postings, threads, and easy-to-navigate are the factors of its presence in the social media world. 

Not Making Good Revenue

The platform might not have similarities to other platforms because of its advertising model. Two main revenues come from advertising services and data licensing. But uniquely, it creates ad space for the advertiser's marketing purposes. It might aggressive as in Malaysia, but organically it has produced such influencers on the platform.

Malaysia's Pandemic

During the pandemic era, Twitter has been the reliable and quickest news in Malaysia. Many government ministers and agencies had been using social media tools to expose such reliable data and announcements. The awareness of social media in delivering genuine news to the public has been a good business revenue for Twitter. In this emerging digital and innovations surrounding our environment, let's hope Twitter will become the reliable consistency in delivering news and media. It will be a good tool for young generations to empower their survival and development in the future.
