Two ‘armed and dangerous’ inmates break out of North Carolina jail

A pair of “armed and dangerous” inmates were caught on camera breaking out of a North Carolina jail.

Surveillance footage shows Michael Miles Jr., 33, and Lishawn Knot, 21, running through the Vance County Detention Center on Wednesday (3 June).

According to the US Department of Justice, the pair knew each other before they were arrested.

Both men were being held for multiple state drug trafficking and gun-related charges, the FBI said. A reward of up to $20,000 is available for the capture of each escaped inmate.
