Kota Kinabalu: A fire in Kampung Pasir Putih, Pulau Gaya, here, destroyed two stilt houses.
The Kota Kinabalu Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call at 11.19am and dispatched a team to the scene.
Quick action by local villagers and members of the Lok Urai Volunteer Fire Brigade managed to extinguish the fire before the firefighters arrived.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident.
