PAPAR: A man and a woman in their 30s were injured when their car skidded and crashed into a road divider along Kampung Padawan on Sunday afternoon.
The Sabah Fire and Rescue Department operations centre received an emergency call regarding the self-accident involving a Perodua Myvi at 4.06pm.
Eight firefighters from the Papar Fire and Rescue Station were dispatched to the scene, located about 30 kilometres away, arriving at 4.28pm.
Rescuers extricated both victims from the vehicle before handing them over to Health Ministry ambulance personnel, who transported them to Papar Hospital for medical treatment before the operation concluded at 4.40pm.
