SEMPORNA: Two people were injured after a Proton Exora skidded off the road into a drain near a Buraqoil petrol station in Bubul Lama along Jalan Kabongan on Sunday night.
The Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call at 9.42pm and a team from the Semporna station arrived at the scene at 9.53pm, about five kilometres from the station.
Firefighters were informed that the two victims had already been taken to the hospital by members of the public before their arrival.
The operation ended at 10.14pm after firefighters conducted a safety inspection at the accident site to ensure there were no further hazards.
