Two men suffered facial and body burns after an air conditioning unit exploded inside a container at Tanjung Puteri Resort, Pasir Gudang.
PASIR GUDANG: Two men were injured after an air conditioning unit exploded inside a container at Tanjung Puteri Resort yesterday evening.
The Johor Fire and Rescue Department received a distress call at 4.51 pm and dispatched a team from the Pasir Gudang station.
Firefighters arrived at the scene approximately 11 minutes later to find the fire already extinguished using a dry powder extinguisher.
The explosion caused burns to the victims’ faces and bodies.
Both men were subsequently taken to Sultan Ismail Hospital for further treatment.
