Tuaran: Two people were injured in an accident involving a Proton Saga and a Perodua Aruz at Jalan Penampang Baru, here, on Sunday.
The unidentified duo sustained bodily injuries and were sent to Tuaran Hospital for treatment.
Tuaran District Fire and Rescue Station Chief Mohamad Nor Amit said a 11-member team was deployed to the scene after receiving a distress call at 2.19pm.
He said the team assisted in removing the Saga driver of the vehicle.

The cause of the accident is under investigation and the operation ended at 2.50pm.
