KENINGAU: Two teenagers, a boy and a girl, who were reported missing while climbing Bukit Kulanga hill here on Saturday were found safe by villagers.
The two, both 17, were found safe at 11.40 am on Sunday, 12 km away from the starting point of the climbing.
The District Fire and Rescue Station received a call at 4.40pm on Saturday and a total of 11 Firefighters led by Operations Officer, Sharudy Delimin along with other agencies, the Police and the Civil Defence Force rushed to the location for Search and Rescue (SAR) operation.
The fire brigade brought down the victims and handed them over to their respective family members and the operation ended at 2.27pm.
