
KOTA KINABALU: A man and a woman were killed when their tour bus crashed after colliding with a lorry on the way to Semporna along Jalan Kalumpang KM 20 Jalan Semporna–Tawau, Monday.
The deceased were identified as Lee Siong Huat, a 60-year-old Singaporean, and Ngo Trinh Buu Dung, a 40-year-old Vietnamese.
They were said to be among seven people, aged between 11 and 71, travelling in a tour bus headed for Semporna.
It is understood that an 11-year-old girl, also a Singaporean, sustained injuries which required 12 stitches on her face.

The impact left two people, including the bus driver, seriously injured and three others slightly injured.
The group were said to have just arrived at the airport and were on their way to Semporna when the accident happened.
