KIMANIS: A violent collision between two vehicles on Jalan Bukit Kimanis–Keningau claimed two lives and left one woman injured on Thursday morning.
The Fire and Rescue Department responded to a distress call at 11:34 AM, dispatching a team of seven to the scene to extricate victims trapped in the wreckage.
Medical officers confirmed the deaths of two male drivers: a 61-year-old man operating a Perodua Axia and a 35-year-old man driving a Proton Saga.
A 52-year-old female passenger in the Perodua Axia survived the crash with injuries and was provided medical assistance.
Local authorities are expected to investigate the cause of the fatal accident.
