Tuaran: The Sabah Government is stepping up efforts to make environmental education more engaging and impactful as part of its broader push for sustainable development across the state.
State Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Christina Liew said the initiative is being spearheaded by the state’s Environmental Protection Department (EPD) through a recent study titled “Development of Educational Materials and Best Practices for Implementing Sabah’s Environmental Education Policy”.
She said the study resulted in the production of new educational materials such as environmental videos, teaching modules and best practice documentation boards, all of which are designed to make content more accessible and appealing to a wider audience.
