- Prosecutors allege Watson repeatedly punched Sharif before Sansom applied pressure to his throat and made cutting motions with an object.
- Sharif, who was jailed for life in December for the murder of his 10-year-old daughter Sara, suffered injuries to his face, mouth, and neck.
- Judge Lynn Tayton KC remanded both men in custody ahead of a two-week trial scheduled to start on 19 July next year.
