KENINGAU: Two men feared missing in the Tibow Sepulut Sook forest on Thursday morning were found safe in the afternoon.

The duo, aged 23 and 30, were found at 3.45pm by a search and rescue team at a roadside.

The Sook Fire and Rescue Station received a call at 8.59am and four members led by operation commander Faisal Ahmad rushed to the location some 114km from the station.

Eleven police personnel, five from the Civil Defence Force (APM) and 25 from the Forestry Department were involved in the search operation.
