
LAHAD DATU: Two men were reported missing after fishing in the waters of Lautan Membatu, Pulau Gaya, and Pulau Bait near here on Saturday (March 9).
A State Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson said they received a distress call following the incident at 6:47am on Monday.
The complainant claimed that the two victims, identified as Amran Kalu, 45, and Jufli Sahuddin, 43, had gone out to sea to fish and had not been contacted since Sunday.
Lahad Datu Fire and Rescue station personnel were dispatched to the scene to conduct the search and rescue (SAR) operations.
