
KENINGAU: Two Indonesian siblings, a three-year-old girl and a three-month-old boy, who were reported missing after their shared house was swept away last Tuesday by floodwaters in Sungai Talangkai Karamatoi Ulu, Sook, have still not been found.
Sook Fire and Rescue Station Chief Faisal Ahmad said the third day of search operation started at 7.30am by a team of 15 firefighters from Sook, Keningau and Nabawan stations as well as a tracking dog unit from the K9 Unit of the Sabah Fire and Rescue Department.
Also helping the search operation were five policemen, 11 members of the Malaysian Civil Defence Force and 15 employees of Syarikat Kitam Sendirian Berhad.
Faisal said the operation was carried out using the surface rescue method covering a radius of 5km from the location where the victim was reported missing.

Faisal said the search and rescue operation was postponed at 5.30pm and will resume today (Saturday).
