Two more arrested in Seremban toll shooting Incident

POLICE have apprehended two additional men suspected of involvement in a shooting at Jalan Rasah near the Mambau Toll Plaza on 10 December, authorities confirmed early yesterday.

Seremban District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Azahar Abdul Rahim, said both suspects, in their 30s, were arrested in Bagan Serai, Penang.

“Following this case, the Seremban District Criminal Investigation Division traced several suspects before successfully detaining two men suspected of the recent shooting. We are continuing investigations into their involvement,” he told reporters.

The two men have been remanded for five days until 19 December to complete the investigation.

Earlier, three other suspects had been detained, and police have seized a semi-automatic firearm in connection with the case.

Azahar added that the investigation papers are expected to be submitted to the Negeri Sembilan Contingent Police Headquarters on 18 December, before referral to the State Public Prosecutor’s Office.

Regarding the victims, he said one injured man is now in stable condition.

Initial reports indicated that one of the victims died in hospital at around 12.50pm on 10 December, following the shooting incident that occurred at approximately 7am.

Both men, Malaysian nationals, had reportedly been shot while inside a Perodua Myvi and were rushed to hospital by passersby. - December 16, 2025
