Kota Kinabalu: Two people underwent corneal transplants recently – thanks to Lions Clubs that sponsored their corneas from Sri Lanka.
This brought to six, the number of corneal transplants sponsored by the Lions Club of Tanjung Aru and Lions Clubs International.
With the exception of the latest elderly patient from Lido, who is still being monitored, all the other patients have regained their vision.
