
SANDAKAN: Two more local authority personnel were remanded on Thursday as part of the ongoing corruption probe involving public servants.
The man and woman, aged 28 and 34 respectively, were detained at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) office around 7pm on Wednesday.
They are suspected of accepting bribes from contractors linked to local authority projects from 2022 to the present.

The case is being investigated under Section 17(a) of the MACC Act 2009.
