- Former The Fray lead singer Isaac Slade and American Idol contestant Brooks Rosser have been added as support acts for Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour.
- The additions follow the removal of US rapper Macklemore over comments he made about the conflict in Gaza during a performance.
- A wave of other supporting acts, including Finneas, Lukas Graham and Aaron Rowe, subsequently pulled out of the remaining tour dates.
- Sheeran said that the promoter made the decision to drop Macklemore following pressure from venue owners.
- Macklemore has since announced a sold-out European tour titled Free Palestine to raise funds for organisations supporting Palestinian people.
