Two ‘people friendly’ monitor lizards fascinate visitors to Seremban Lake Gardens (video)

A SOCIAL media user, Peng Tai, shared a video of two large monitor lizards at the Seremban Lake Garden that seemed quite "people-friendly".

If the reptile usually sees humans, it would immediately run into the bushes, but these two were different.

One was seen eating a large fish, much to the amusement of visitors to the lake garden.

However, many warned that these lizards could get aggressive, and onlookers were advised to keep a distance. – May 20, 2026
