KANGAR: Two Thai nationals will be charged in court here tomorrow over the death of a Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) officer during an enforcement operation in Kuala Sungai Padang, Kuala Perlis, on Oct 26.

Kedah and Perlis Maritime Operations deputy director Maritime Captain Mohamad Shukri Khotob said the two men, believed to be boat operators, would be charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code and Section 26J of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons and Anti-Smuggling of Migrants Act (ATIPSOM) 2007.
