
- Two women, aged 26 and 24, have died while diving at Loch Fyne in Argyll and Bute on Sunday.
- Emergency services were called to reports of divers in difficulty at about 3.30pm on Sunday, with one woman pronounced dead at the scene and the other's body later recovered following a rescue operation.
- A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The deaths are being treated as unexplained and a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.”
- Separately, two people died after getting into difficulty at sea off Fistral Beach in Newquay on Sunday night.
- Another man died and a second was hospitalised after being pulled from the water in West Wittering on Sunday.
