TAMBUNAN: Two women were injured in an accident involving two vehicles, a Perodua Myvi and a Proton Saga FLX at Kampung Tiang, here, on Tuesday.

The victims were the drivers of the Proton Saga and the Myvi while the other two passengers of the Proton Saga, including a one-year-old boy, were not injured.

The District Fire and Rescue Station received a call at 12.16pm and ten members led by Operations Officer, Tonny Sipin rushed to the location with machinery.

Firemen acted to provide initial treatment to the victims and were sent to the hospital using the EMRS machine for further treatment and the operation ended at 12.57 pm.

Sook Sub-District Fire and Rescue Station received a call at 3.40 am and 10 members led by Operations Officer, Maimin Yabin went to the place with machinery.

Firemen used the water source from the machinery in the extinguishing operation. No casualties were reported and the operation ended at 4.36am.
