Tyler Dibling has signed a scholarship deal with Southampton.
The 16-year-old was expected to sign for Chelsea.
However, Dibling said: “This is my second home. I've been here so many years.
“All the staff, all the coaches, I have a good connection with them and I feel that'll help me move up and get into the first-team.
“I want to play well and do what I did last year, or even better. Long-term I want to be a starter, play Premier League games, help the club out and have a good connection with the fans.
“It's good to be back at this amazing place and I feel like it's the right place to be."
