
KOTA KINABALU: Yang Di-Pertua Negeri Sabah Tun Musa Aman (pic) has urged Malaysians to celebrate National Day 2025 in the spirit of peace, unity and progress.
He said Malaysia has achieved much over the decades, with rising standards of living, better education and improved quality of life for its people.
Tun Musa emphasised that Sabah has always been a vital contributor to the nation’s success, particularly through the unity and harmony among its people.
He cautioned against the spread of hatred and misinformation on social media, urging the public to share only verified and truthful information.
The Head of State called on Sabahans to continue working together across races and religions, stressing that diversity is a strength that should be protected.
He also expressed hope that the development gap between Sabah and other regions will narrow through effective policies, while reminding the state civil service to implement projects efficiently for the people’s benefit.
Tun Musa concluded his message by calling for continued political stability in Sabah to attract investment and growth, while wishing all Malaysians a joyous and meaningful National Day.
