KUDAT: Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin’s consort Toh Puan Norlidah R.M Jasni emerged the winner in a friendly badminton match against the National Association of Wives of Civil Servants and Women Civil Servants (Puspanita) in Kudat.
She teamed up with Asfar Arshad to beat their opponents in the final round with a score of 22-20, 17-21 and 21-9.
The friendly match held at the Abdul Halim Kudat National High School Hall saw the dominance of Norlidah from the start, where she won all five matches she participated in.
In the first match, Norlidah paired with Jumatiah Saharuddin and defeated Puspanita Helda Yong and Juini Wanda with a score of 21-15, 21-13.

Read more In the second match, Norlidah won in style with her teammate Enna Oyoh defeating Puspanita’s duo Hariah Julipli and Raidah Halim with a score of 21-12, 21-10.
Nur Aliah Mohd Nor became Norlidah’s third teammate in another friendly match and emerged victorious with a score of 21-15, 21-18, beating Normah Magasap and Lili George from Puspanita.
In the fourth round, Norlidah teamed up with Asfar in the mixed doubles event, defeating Morris Moliki and Siti Rasnah Pinung with a score of 21-13, 21-8.
Also present were Tg Kapor Assemblyman’s wife Datin Evelyn Kong and Puspanita Kudat Chairman Jamilah Kula.
