Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says Nemanja Matic was clearly joking when responding to Tottenham transfer rumours on social media.
Matic responded to a post on Instagram from the account BenchWarmers which suggested that he would reunite with Mourinho at Spurs, with a pair of clapping and laughing emojis.
The comment was clearly a joke, and Solskjaer has taken it as such - and laughed it off as Matic simply having a sense of humour.
"That's not a part of being boring when it's like this," Solskjaer said.
"You like Jose coming back, it's going be a spectacle and a circus and Nemanja has a sense of humour."
